Fall Scrapbook Conference is Just Around the Corner!

Hello Friends!

We love this time of year! Sweater weather...beautiful fall colors...hot chocolate...and  

Cindy's Fall Conference!!!  

This year it will be held on November 14th and 15th.  It is at the Red Lion Hotel in Pocatello.  Cindy works so hard to put this on for us twice a year and we appreciate her so much!  Did you know all profits from this conference go to benefit the sweetest little boy named Talen?  You can read more about his story here as well as the basic info about the weekend.  Please join us, even if you can't come for both days.  It would be great seeing all of you!

Here is a look at the two classes Stephanie will be teaching at the conference. 

HAPPY TOGETHER

 Learn how to add texture to your layout with fabric, burlap, wood, cork, and modeling paste. 

PURE HAPPINESS

This would be great as a two-page layout or two one-page layouts.  You will learn how to make a wire-wrapped heart to use as an embellishment.

Spring Scrapbooking Conference

We are thrilled to announce Cindy's Scrapbooking Conference coming up on June 13-14 at the Red Lion in Pocatello!  Last fall, Cindy wasn't sure she would be able to continue holding her retreats due to a decrease in attendance.  But at the October conference, everyone showed her such great support, she went ahead and scheduled both the spring and fall conferences for 2014!! 

You can choose to come for two fun-filled days (Friday and Saturday) or just one.  There is a conference fee for attending as well as food and hotel costs. There are also optional classes available to take throughout the conference which also have an additional cost.  That means you only have to pay for what you want to create. Cindy keeps her website updated as teachers turn in their class info.  See all the details here.

We hope you will save the date and consider coming with us.  We always have such a great time and look forward to scrapping, relaxing, and visiting with all of you.

OUR STORY STARTS HERE!

The kit for this layout comes with everything you see here including 12 title cards and photo frames, so you have lots of options!  If you don't have this many photos,  you can fill the spaces in with extra title cards.  The photos shown are all 2x3, but you could easily replace them with other sizes. The elements are versatile enough to use for a variety of themes...from Fall photos to Jr. Prom!

Fall Scrapbooking Retreat!!

 Hello Everyone!

We hope you have had a wonderful summer and are getting settled into a routine with the kids back in school.  We want to tell you about Cindy's upcoming Fall Conference on October 11-12.  That's only one short month away!!

Cindy has had her scrapbooking shop for several years and has hosted retreats for most of them.  This is where Stephanie started learning all about scrapbooking and fell in love with it!  Over the past few years, attendance has dropped at her semi-annual conferences and she's trying to decide if she can still continue hosting them.  Those of us who are "regulars" can't imagine not having these girl's weekends out and are now asking for your support!  Please visit her website here to learn all about the conference.  You can attend for one day or two.  There is a conference fee for attending as well as food and hotel costs. There are also optional classes available to take throughout the conference which also have an additional cost.  We have loved it this way, because it means you only have to pay for what you want to create.  It's a wonderful little retreat and we always have an enjoyable time.

Another benefit to going is to support Talen, the sweetest little 6-year-old boy you could ever meet!  He has an undiagnosed illness and we always have a silent auction to raise money for his medical expenses.  It's a very worthy cause and a great way to scoop up some fabulous goodies to take home with you.

Kathy's Layout for 6-Midnight

We are counting down the days until our Spring 6-Midnight Crop on Friday, April 12th (11 more days to be exact)!  We have a few $20 crop spots available, which include the kit shown here and extra supplies and instructions to complete three one-page layouts.  There is always plenty of product left over to complete your own projects with.  In addition to the fabulous kit, there are treats, games, and door prizes for everyone!  Or if you would rather bring your own projects to work on, it only cost $5 for a crop spot.  We like to have fun and hope you will join us!  To sign up, please contact us at orders@luckylarkdesigns.com or comment on our Facebook page.

 One of the things we love most about this kit is how you can add whatever colors you want to the beautiful black and white papers.  This could easily be adjusted to fit any occasion.  Notice the cute french fry bag Candi used as a journaling pocket?  So cute!!

Who's Ready for a Spring Crop?

We are excited to announce our Spring 6-Midnight Crop on Friday, April 12, 2013!  We have missed our crafting friends and would love to have you all come!  Here are the details:

When:  Friday, April 12, 2013

6:00 p.m. to Midnight

Where:  Rexburg Senior Citizen's Center

Cost:  $20 for a kit or $5 for a crop spot

What to bring:  Your basic scrapbooking supplies plus any projects you would like to work on that night.  There is no wifi in the building, so if you are a digi scrapper please plan accordingly.

You can sign up by emailing us at orders@luckylarkdesigns.com.  Please let us know if you are signing up for a kit or a crop spot.  Kits sell out quickly, so sign up soon!

The basic kit contains:

• One dozen 12x12 black and white patterned papers
• 12x12 sheet of polka dot felt
• 2 of the cutest little fry bags ever
• 8x8 sheet of alphabet rub-ons in black and brown
• Giant Heidi Swapp date stamp
• 80 flowers in 8 different colors
• Ribbon & twine
• 3 beautiful dyed peacock feathers
• All the extras used to complete 3 one-page layouts we have designed

If you have attended our events before, you know there is always tons of product left over to create your own projects.

Teresa Collins is coming to Rexburg & Idaho Falls!

We want to tell everyone "THANK YOU!!!" for attending our 6-Midnight this weekend!  We had a lot of fun and loved seeing all of you again!  We saw old friends and made new friends...it was awesome!

Now I have a fun announcement...

Teresa Collins is coming to Rexburg and Idaho Falls this week!

Teresa is a well-known designer in the scrapbooking industry. She will be teaching and speaking at "What Today's Women Want" Expo in Idaho Falls October 19 & 20.  Tickets and more information are available here.

AND...

An even cooler part is that she has asked to come to Porter's in Rexburg and Idaho Falls to do a small make and take and meet everyone!  This is a free event and a great opportunity to meet a very talented woman!  

She will be at the Rexburg Porter's store on Thursday, October 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

She'll then be at the Idaho Falls Porter's store on Friday, October 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. after teaching at the Expo that day.

I, for one, am very excited to meet her and hope all of you will take time to do the same and support our local scrapbooking store.

Two Fall Crop Dates Announced!

Hi Everyone!  Does it feel like forever since we've cropped together?  Well wait no more!  We are excited to announce our upcoming 6-Midnight crop on Friday, October 12th.  It will be held at the Senior Citizen's Center in Rexburg.  As always, there are two options for attending:

Option A:
For $20 you will receive this beautiful kit containing a 6x6 paper stack with 23 different designs,  dimensional flower stickers, chipboard elements, alphabets, pretty textured ribbons & twine, darling buttons, and more!  We will provide additional supplies and instructions for completing at least three one-page layouts and you will still have tons of product left over.  And as always, we will have games and prizes available.

Option B:
For a small $5 fee, you can bring your own craft projects to work on, enjoy good company, and participate in games & contests with prizes for everyone.

Another Class Posted for Pocatello Conference

Here is a look at Stephanie's Saturday class for Cindy's Scrapbooking Conference on May 18-19.  This layout is perfect for showcasing birthdays, family reunions, or any other celebration.  You will learn how to make "Lolli" or Accordion Flowers using a Martha Stewart Scoring Board.

May 18-19th is creeping up on us.  We hope you can join in the fun!

Pocatello Scrapbook Conference

The time is coming up for another fun overnight crop in Pocatello!  Mark your calendars for May 18th & 19th at the Red Lion Hotel.  The cost is $25 for one day or $35 for both.  You can register by contacting Cindy, who sponsors this fabulous event.

We are teaching classes there and wanted to give you a peek at what's in store.
